This is the first entry in our new blog to capture so much we are looking forward to doing together. It is Memorial Day, and storms are brewing in Iowa. We had a scheduled Kernels noon game which was rained out. It was a bummer after an otherwise fabulous weekend. Saturday we took our new kayaks for a first spin, and then had Star Wars night at the Kernels with all the family there with us. And yesterday was another Kernels game, a real slug fest, with 14 runs on 18 hits.
